This is the second book in Suzanne's forest adventure stories. These stories teach the importance of caring for our natural environment and the animals that populate it. The books are appropriate for ages 5-10.
Daniel and Wenonah meet new and very different friends while hiking in their woods. Raven and Squirrel along with Bailey the Dog accompany the two children and help when danger is near. "…Look at this," Wenonah said, pointing to a circle of large stones in front of the piles of grass and leaves. "Someone made a fire in here." Squirrel looked at the stones. "Drawings and symbols have been carved on the rocks. There are pictures of wolves and gorillas…" $11.00 (includes S&H) |
